Wow that felt great! I know I’m just building base again after some earned time off, but your endurance fades fast when you are eating poorly and sitting around a lot. The good side is I am starting to feel things coming back. My legs aren’t aching as badly and recovery is starting to speed up again.
This will be day 12 of the run streak and I have a whole new respect for those guys doing this years at a time instead of a month at a time. It doesn’t seem to get easier, just more tired. Today’s workout is a 90 minute bike followed by a 1-2 mile run to continue that streak. I am excited about more bike time and this week we will be adding swims back in since I’m holding up well against the weather changes. The ear and sinus infection seem to be holding off for now.
Time to ride!
